Have spent time the last 2 days working on the next Free Fall album, trying to pick the best of 23 pieces (for this recording, and for the first time, all the material is completely improvised). Now starts the back and forth with Haavard and In…gebrigt on final choices. Also began composing new work for the Resonance Ensemble, will combine these pieces with the last book on our upcoming tour.
Jane Baxter-Miller sounded great at the Hideout last night. I think her album comes out in the start of 2010, something to look forward to in the upcoming year. Continue to struggle to finish a long list of tasks before heading outfor Europe Wednesday… Ha Ha Ha.
