Copies of “Letter To A Stranger” arrived from smalltown, not sure of the official release date, hope to have copies for sale on the duo tour with Paal Nilssen-Love in April next year. Recording sessions during the end of November with Fire Room took place in two concerts at the Vortex in London, and a concert in Poznan, Poland; all went extremely well and we should have a very strong album to show for it. Head back to Chicago in mid December and will work on completing the mixing for at least two projects this winter. The first will be the Resonance Ensemble’s new album (recorded in Chicago during the March Resonance Festival) so that it can be released in conjunction with the band’s tour in Europe early next spring. The second will be the Platform 1 sessions from May this year, taking care of this in February means that the quintet’s first album will be ready for our tour next autumn. This leaves the new Made To Break, Topology II, and Lean Left recordings to complete in the spring so that the music can be available by next fall. In addition, work will done by Paal Nilssen-Love to get a limited release completed of the Double Tandem music recorded live from our gig in Stavanger, Norway in September; and he will organize mixing sessions for the duo sets performed in Poznan during October so that a double lp can come out on Laurence Family in April.
