Paal and I head to Germany and play at Manufactur in Schorndorf. Fantastic audience, real enthusiasm (2 encores after 2 sets!). The music moved into totally new areas- one improvisation just dealt with timbre, another ripped into split-tone melodicism; each night really an adventure in exploration. And I got to do laundry, Paal is happy.
