Spent the day running errands to get things together for the trip to Addis- photos for my visa, etc. Aside from Ethiopian sounds, been listening to “Can You Dig It” on Soul Jazz, very cool. But artist of the day is Alemayehu Eshete (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HKa66U4HqWQ); finding that the clarinet fits in… extremely well with the wide range of Ethiopian music…
