Concert 2 of the tour- Glasgow. A hell of a long drive with little sleep the night before, horrendous soundcheck at the CCA, almost no time in the end to deal with all the sonic issues and monitors. But the
show is sold out and the Scottish audience is incredible energetic, giving a lot back to the band. Horns mo…re familiar with the tunes and parts, music flows better because of this; a great night in the end. ZZE uses animated projections with their show. Forgot to mention that Mike Pearson came to the show in Bristol, haven’t seen him since the Tentet project with the Patchen “Love Poems;” he completely changed my attitude towards poetry because of his amazing readings of those texts.
