4/12:
Fly to Amsterdam to pick up my baritone which has been at Terrie Hessels place since the end of The Ex & Brass Unbound tour finished in mid February. The horn fits in the new trunk, total weight under 20 kilos, so fingers crossed for touring with it.
Terrie showed me a great documentary, cinema verite style, about Han Bennink from the late 1960s; incredible footage (Willem Brueker in his 20s…).
Started reading “A Sweeper-Up After Artists,” by Irving Sandler; memoir of the NY Art scene 1950+.
