An intense couple of days- Vandermark 5 performs at Elastic in Chicago
on Tuesday night; we do a good job with the new compositions, “Fables
of Fact,” and “Location.” Need to edit/adapt the charts but they’re
headed the right way. Look forward to having the weekly concerts in
Chicago again- I miss this. The lps for
the Powerhouse Sound tour don’t show due to an impossible series of
errors, VERY frustrating. But the band heads to Detroit to start the
tour that brings us to Newport on Sunday in any case. The first concert
goes well, we present “Leap” for the first time, good to have at least
something new to present on this road trip… V5 from our tour last
