IKUE MORIS STONE RESIDENCY 2025: Sylvie Courvoisier, Ikue Mori, Ken Vandermark, Nate Wooley

During Ikue Mori’s December 2025 residency at the Stone in New York City, a first-time quartet comprised of Ikue (laptop electronics), Sylvie Courvoisier (piano), Ken Vandermark (reeds), and Nate Wooley (trumpet and amplifier) will be performing.  Ikue has performed with all the musicians in many contexts; Sylvie, Ken, and Nate worked together in a quartet with Tom Rainey and released the critically acclaimed album, Noise of  Our Time, together on Intakt; and Ken and Nate have collaborated for many years as a duo and in a trio with Paul Lytton.  The music will be completely improvised.
