DESCRIPTION:Internationally renowned\, Texas-based drummer and vibraphonist\, Stefan Gonzalez comes to Chicago for a rare set of performances that will showcase both parts of his musical skill.  Stefan will be playing drums in a quartet that will feature new compositions by Ken Vandermark (reeds) that includes Jason Adasiewicz on vibes and Mabel Kwan on piano.  In addition\, Stefan will play vibraphone in a free improvisation trio that includes Vandermark and drummer Chris Corsano.  Both groups will be performing together for the first time.
