4/9: Played an improvised solo set before Little Women at the Velvet Lounge on Thursday. Was disappointed in my playing, felt like I tried a range of things but none of them created strong results, frustrating.
Enjoyed Little Women, reminded me a bit of Zu. Found Andrew Smiley’s guitar work buy valium online very intersting, some kind of cross between Television, Derek Bailey, and Sonny Sharrock. Friday I visited the Street Seen photo
exhibit at the Milwaukee Art Musuem.
Another outstanding show there, great view into what was happening in NY during 1940-60, particularly enjoyed the work of Frank, Klein, and Leiter.
