4/21:
Duo moves west through Germany, plays in Marburg at a club that’s been presenting Jazz and Improvised Music for 30 years. Small but appreciative crowd. I feel more in command of my playing, better focus
than in Jena. The duo is in an interesting phase, the music moving through awkward sections as Paal and I try to discover new territory to explore, we’ve got so much history together, in so many contexts, communicating isn’t a problem, finding new risks is the challenge now. And so the search continues!
