5/14:
Fly to St. Petersburg, Russia, my first visit to this city- quite beautiful. Catch The Thing at the SKIF Festival (where Sonore plays on the 15th), nice concert (Ingebrigt sounded great!) but tough acoustics.
Lots of people, a young enthusiastic crowd of listeners. Started to read, “Rites of Spring: The Great War and the Modern Age” (by Modris Eksteins).
