5/20:
The Brotzmann Chicago Tentet plays in Porto to 500+ fans at the Koolhass designed, Casa Da Musica [interesting in appearance,impractical as a concert- you needed a map to find anything in the place, dressing rooms several floors from the stage, etc….].
The band is again faced with tough acoustics, reeds lost in the room (if Brozmann and Gustafsson can’t be heard, something is WRONG with the sound!). Good sections despite these problems (duo with Brotzmann and Holmlander, Kessler bass solo…).
