Travel from Budapest to Amsterdam by overnight train, a 24 hour trip but lucky not a plane, Icleland’s volcano has shut Europe DOWN. Dinner at the Munich train station and a woman standing in front of the closed ticket agency asks someone working for Deutsche Bahn when the office will open: “Well, early morning. …Where are you trying to get to?” Her response- “The United States.” Everyone
within earshot broke out laughing- that’s a hell of a train ride!
