John Sparagana: Interference Patterns opening event: Ken Vandermark solo

To celebrate to opening of John Sparagana’s exhibition, Interference Patterns, at the Benton Museum of Art in Claremont, California, Ken Vandermark will be perform a unique solo concert.  In an attempt to explore Sparagana’s working methods for his visual art, Vandermark will interpolate material from his to his two solo albums on the Corbett vs. Dempsey label: The Field Within A Line and October Flowers for Joe McPhee in real time.  The performance will be followed by a reception to celebrate the exhibition and artist.  This event is free to the public with required registration:
