Inspiring Friday and Saturday this past
weekend- went to the “Henri Cartier-Bresson: The Modern Century” exhibit
at the AIC, and caught the Bradley Collection and the “Warrington
Colescott: Cabaret, Comedy & Satire” show at the museum in Milwaukee
(didn’t know anything about Colescott and his early prints from the
1950s-60s in particular really knocked me out). Caught Assex at the
Sugar Maple buy cheap online canada (Pierluissi, Adasiewicz, McBride, Rempis); Adrienne’s vocals
have never sounded better, and it was the first time I have ever heard
Nate sing. More photos for the painting/photo collaboration with
Adrienne, inspired by a book of Hans Hofmann’s paintings from the
1950’s, which gave me better ideas about how to capture the details on
the canvas. Info on the Cartier-Bresson: http://www.artic.edu/aic/exhibitions/exhibition/cartierbressonmodern
