John Sparagana: Interference Patterns opening event: Ken Vandermark solo

To celebrate the opening of John Sparagana’s exhibition, Interference Patterns, at the Benton Museum of Art in Claremont, California, Ken Vandermark will be perform a unique solo concert.  In an attempt to explore Sparagana’s working methods for his visual art, Vandermark will interpolate material from his two solo albums on the Corbett vs. Dempsey label: The Field Within A Line and October Flowers for Joe McPhee in real time.  The performance will be followed by a reception to celebrate the exhibition and artist.  This event is free to the public with required registration:
