1st night of Impro Jazz Festival goes well despite the insane bureaucracy of the venue and a typically useless soundcheck. My favorite set was performed by Savina Giannatou, Pandelis Karayorgis and Hans Koch; the combination of voicec piano, and bass clarinet fit the “New Music” nature of their improvisations very well. Liked this combination better than my set with buy generic online with mastercard Savina and Okay Temiz, where the music never seemed to settle into a specific identity during the 20 minutes we had to play. The opening performance I had with Michael Griener and Jan Roder went much better, good energy and variety in content, a mini-suite of sorts.

In additon to this- Lee “Scratch” Perry’s birthday!
