Discussion with Furkan Çolak

Furkan Çolak, a member of the Noesis Collective of musicians and artists based in Ankara, Turkey, recently got in touch to interview me. The discussion was in-depth and far ranging and has just been published in English and Turkish on the Noesis website.

Meeting Furkan and learning about Noesis has been a significant reminder for the importance of mutual support during these very troubled times. That, no matter how far apart we may be geographically, we can still live in the same neighborhood: socially, culturally, and politically. My thanks to Furkan and the Noesis Collective for their interest in my work and that of Catalytic Sound.

Noesis Collective is a music and art collective founded by a group of friends in Ankara. Its aim is to create a space where different types of music and art activities can come together and interact, with the understanding that the need to express through production is common, only the methods change.
noesis.blog is a collectively produced platform where different forms of expression can stand side by side, intersect and transform each other.
